Account Executive (eCU Technology)

HOUSTON, TX

Role:

This role will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with our clients, providing training and demos of our platform, managing client billing, and handling office support activities. Success in this role means ensuring clients get the most from our solutions, maintaining accurate billing records, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management and Reporting: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with our clients. Understand their needs and proactively address concerns to ensure long-term satisfaction. Provide feedback to internal teams based on client interactions, and regularly track and report on client engagement, training progress, and billing updates.

Platform Training and Demos: Lead engaging training sessions and product demonstrations for current and potential users of the platform. Tailor the sessions to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring they can maximize their use of our software.

Client Billing Management: Oversee the billing process for assigned clients. Ensure invoices are accurate, resolve any discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date financial records for accounts.

Office Support: Assist with other office administrative tasks to help the office run efficiently.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: 2+ years of experience in account management, client relations, or sales support, ideally within the tech or financial services sectors.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build long-lasting relationships. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients efficiently.

• Experience with CRM and billing software.

• Proficiency in conducting software training and product demos (technical expertise preferred).

• Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Work Environment: This position will require for conferences and client visits (25% travel)
