Quality Control Representative

HOUSTON, TX

Role: Effectively performs quality control reviews on consumer loans by verifying completeness and accuracy on all collected documents and ensure funding process was completed correctly and accurately.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Effectively complete a monthly quality control up to 50% of Processors funded loan volume.

Maintain and update a spreadsheet report to document all findings.

Provide Loan Processors with a list of findings for an opportunity to complete loan file.

Provide a final monthly report for management for review.

Assist with coaching as needed on items missed overtime.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

1. Achieve a minimum of 30% QC reviews or higher.

2. Provide monthly summary reports to management by the third business day of the following month.

3. Maintain integrity and consistency with all QC performed.

4. Maintain NPS score of 70 or higher.

5. Treat employees professionally with courtesy and respect.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Minimum one year operations and/or lending experience, preferably in a credit union environment.

Education: A high school education or GED.Must be knowledgeable of Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations and requirements.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills  

Basic knowledge in Word, EXCEL, Outlook and office related applications.

Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.

Must have a proactive attitude toward members, supervisors, co-workers and the credit union.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with limited supervision, exercising own initiative and judgment.
